Guest guest
My ACT ahaa moments occur when using an ACT exercise/metaphor helps me stop the struggle, usually for that moment. The trick is to get proficient with ACT to be able to string the moments together. That's why it's so important to keep the toolkit handy, see the hooks when they appear and then make the choice towards my values. My sense of well-being is directly proportional to the amount of time I spend using ACT core processes. Every time I think I can "do it without ACT" my bus goes in the ditch. I expect to have to deliberately use ACT core processes the rest of my life. I do find that using ACT core processes has become more of a habit but still requires deliberate usage of the processes, especially in time of "crisis."Bill
