Guest guest
you may want to make sure he isn't in kenosis....as then he would start living on his own muscles for food called catabolism Recovering from Autism is a marathonNOT a sprint, but FULLY possible!Read more about it on my BLOGs athttp://www.myspace.com/christelkinghttp://foggyrock.com/MyPage/recoveringwisheshttp://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=677063169 weight loss Hello,We are following the SCD diet with out son and are concerned that he lost 2 pounds in two weeks. He has a good appetite and eats a lot of protein, fruit and vegatables, but nevertheless lost the weight. We started the SCD diet with Diflucan since he has terrible yeast overgrowth. A lot of his calories before the SCD were from rice/soymilk and french fries, which are cut now. Did anyone experience a similar situation? On a different note, he has had great great bowel movements with color and consistency. They were awful before. Also, he has been terribly sick with some fever at the beginning but largely with coughs, runny nose and rash in his face. We took him to the doctor but he didn't notice any bacterial infection, he just said he had a chest cold. But, he was never like this with colds and I remember reading somewhere that yeast die off was much like the flu in symptoms. Is it possible, how do you tell? Finally, we made some homemade almond milk following the recipe at pecanbread.com. He seems to like it, has anyone tried it?Many thanks,Cetin No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG - http://www.avg.com Version: 8.0.176 / Virus Database: 270.10.12/1911 - Release Date: 1/23/2009 7:28 AM

Guest guest
Thanks, Becky, for this message. We started giving him the avacado smoothie as described on the pecanbread.com for weight gain. He does have a good appetite and hopefully, he will stabilize. His mother lost more weight with the worry, if you ask me.
