Guest guest
Juel I was on Casodex and when I had my first Zoledex (our Lupron) I was told to stay on Casodex for a number of weeks, I am now trying to scratch my head for teh exact figure but it was between 3 and 5. Some men stop Casodex and continue taking Zoledex or Lupron - which can work for quite a long while and in some men can be used intermittently. If PSA starts to rise low dose (50mg) Casodex can be added to the Zoledex to give an additional time of treatment. This blocks testosterone formed in the adrenal glands.
