Guest guest
I spoke with a speech pathologist yesterday who is working with a child (no diagnosis) who is uncooperative. She said he just giggles uncontrollably and acts drunk. The school has recommended that this child see a child psychiatrist. I understand that he is already medicated for aggression. I recommended CSB book and asked the speech pathologist to have the mother call me. It sounds so " yeasty " to me - especially since he has had no biomedical treatment at all. He's just being dismissed as " crazy " . What else can I do? I don't know where we would be today with our daughter if I had listened to the school and traditional doctors for her treatment. Being part of this website community is a blessing that I sometimes forget to appreciate. The speech pathologist kept referring to our daughter as " remember when " she would act this way or act way that way. I'm glad she's a " remember when " person. Although, we're still facing issues - she's come so far. Shari
