Guest guest
Hi all. I just had the opportunity to meet with the neurology department at our hospital. They are interested in providing a more team approach to the medical treatment of co-factor issues of children with autism. One of the things our group is asking for is a 24 hour EEG. I know that I have read an article quoting a study that demonstrated that the 24 hour EEG was much more effective than a 2 hour EEG for our children. I believe that it stated that epilepsy was found in 40 percent when using a 24 hour EEG. I had access to a copy of this study but can not find it. Does anyone know of this study? Anyone know of any study that demonstrates my point? The neurology department was really interested and of course now I can not find it. I am kicking myself. I have run a pubmed search but can not find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated Macluskie " Taking a break and hanging with my kid "
