Stormy,

It could be so many things I couldn't even list them here - but fibro,

spondylitis, arthritis, pinched nerve are just a start. Sounds like you need to

see either an orthopedic doc. or rheumatologist.

Try either soaking in a warm tub, or sitting on a shower seat, or stand if

you can, in a nice warm shower. You can also use those things you heat in the

microwave -moist hot heat is frequently the best.

Good luck on finding what's going on.

Dear :

I started out in an emergency room this year in february when the pain finally

got to me. They did do exrays and did find that the orginal surgery site in my

spine looked really odd. After that it was a roller coaster of phone calls

trying to find someone who could connect me to the right people. Its really hard

when you are new to an area and do not know whom to call or trust.

Good luck dear.

Respectfully

Hi Stormy,

My name is Kathleen and I have had many, many years of chronic back pain due

to deformities in my spine. Since we aren't doctors here we can't diagnose

your pain or condition, but I can tell you that spinal/back pain can be

debilitating for sure.

Your best solution would be to go to your doctor. Did you do anything

unusual before this pain started? It can be a matter of ilimination to find out

what's happened. In the meantime I would try ice pacs and heat pacs. Ice to

reduce any swelling that might be adding to the pain and heat for the muscles.

Generally speaking it's 20 minutes on 20 minutes off. I don't always hold to

that myself tho.

Good luck and please go to your doctor.
