Guest guest
" In CA, because my daughter received her MMR ONE DAY before her first birthday, the school required her to have a second. Is that BS or what? The way their law reads, " on or after first birthday " meant they were well within their rights to require a second. I tried to get our doctor (Kaiser) to waive it, and he refused. " Carol- The same thing happened to me. I received a call from the school nurse requesting a 2nd MMR. I refused. How ridiculous to subject a child to a 2nd MMR so the school district can have clean paperwork. Ask for the waiver form from the school district. They must give it to you, although they never seem to volunteer it.
