Denied for LTD

Hey everybody:

Just got word from my employers long term insurance company that my LTD was

denied stating that this is preexisting as my coverage with this company did not

begin until July 08 and my symptoms began in June. I have reviewed my Dr.'s

notes from Jan 08 til June 08 and I was seen for URI and sinusitis, but no

arthralgias, etc. I am going to try to appeal and the dr has already written a

letter for me. Just wondering if anyone has any helpful advice about appealing?

I know there was so much on the site that helped me with applying for SSDI so I

thought you all might help. This was devastating news to me as I don't know how

my family and I are going to make it. I do get to start on Enbrel next week so I

am just praying this will be the medicine that gets me back to work before we

end up on the streets.
