Guest guest
Hello Fellow Still's Members, First welcome to all the new members, I have not been around in quite awhile, my Fibrous Histeiocytoma has spread and my chemotherapy has changed making me sick as a dog. spend most of my days resting. On a brighter note my B-cell Lymphoma has went into remission, and the docs did finally conclusively decided it was from the Enbrel, but it is very rare to happen. My key factor was that it came on with the 4th week of treatment and was caught early and this is the typical pattern. Flu shots, my Oncologist and my Rheumy said definitely get both, but not the Flu Mist or the nasal of the H1N1 since they are live virus and anyone on any type of chemotherapy and any MTX therapy for Still's or other forms Arthritis should not get one. Wait for the shot! My son and I both have already had the H1N1, get the shot as soon as its available. I also found out that you must not be around anyone who has received the live virus for at least 3 days, many of us have school age children in our families and if they received their vaccinations at school they more than likely got the live virus if it were available. Otherwise my Still's is still being its normal self, you would think being on all this chemo it would be bound to help something, lol Everyone have great Holidays, and Take care, R
