Guest guest
Hi O-B-1, I am guessing your latest flare up is much worse than others, right? I never had severe bouts of EN in that only my left lower leg was usually affected and never any nodes above the knee. However I did have chronic EN for 41 yrs--on and off. I have not had a flare up in over 2 yrs now--and I think maybe my trigger was my own hormones and that menopause is what put me into this long remission. Yes, the cough could be linked to sarcoidosis. You will need to see a pulmonary specialist to rule it out. A chest x-ray would have shown it, but possibly not as about 10% of sarc doesn't affect the lungs. Sarc. is sometimes called the " Great Impostor " , so it is a good idea to at least check further. Good luck in your search for your trigger. Hang in there, and I hope you feel better soon. Love, EN since 1968 in Remission now. http://poems2order.wordpress.com/donate-to-erythema-nodosum-research/
