This is happening to my husband as well. big hugs to you. i wish there was something more i could say to help you feel better.

A few weeks ago I was putting away laundry and cracked my head good on the cabinet. I went down, not unconscious, just seeing many stars. hubby tried to come over to help me and fell, just like you described. so we are both on opposite sides of the house down on the floor. the poor dog was running back and forth, beside herself, licking our faces. and such is life at our house sometimes. but i know bill felt so bad. and i felt bad for him. my bump on the head healed in a few days. he is not so lucky.

i will keep you in my prayers.

no, i am just clumsy.... I had a brain injury at birth that screwed up my depth perception, coordination and fine motor skills. I had therapy to retrain other parts of my brain to take over for the damaged parts. most of the time it doesn't cause me any problems. just when i am really tired. then look out. i run into all sorts of things. lol.

Help, Ive fallen and could not get up....I have a horrible chest cold...and awoke to get a tissue and go pee...was walking across my bedroom and my knees buckled under me...I brush burned them pretty good and they hurt so maybe bruise too...but I could not get up from the floor...my daughter whom is 11 came and hugged me...she couldnot help me....my muscles sould not let me bare my weight to even pull myself up...it took about 20 mins or so and we finaly got me up...once up I am ok mostly....my muscles have no strength left...has this happened to ayone?....It was so scarey...I was not paralized...I could move them...they just would not support any weight and hd no strength to help me pull myself up....will this keep happening?....to lay on the ground like a fish out of water flopping around trying to pull myself up...only you friends will understand....in past I fall I could get uip....this time, no matter how hard i tried my legs would not let me...thanks, Im just scared now.......im sure its not an excerbation or i hope...i think this cold i have made me bad.....it was like my front thigh muscles would not let me use them....and you need them to hold weight....I was so heavy like dead weight...when i fell the entire house fell like it was falling down...my daughter came running she hurt the THUD.....but the not being able to get up...that is scarey.....I have tears going down my cheeks as i watch the steelers/eagles football game snuggles on sofa....
