OT: Who has actually DONE the KPU test?

I am reading the directions in the kit, and what to see if I am understanding

this correctly (for those who have already done this test):

Pee in a clean plastic milk jug. First wrap the jug in aluminim foil. Put all

your urine for an entire day in it. After you get a significant amount of urine

(say a liter), then add 500mg of vit C (ascorbic acid). If you pee a second

liter in the same day, then add another 500 mg. I calculated 500mg is about

1/9th of a tsp of Vit C powder.

At the end of the day, transfer just enough urine from that jug into the small

container that comes with the kit. Wrap that small container in aluminum.

Question: Do I mix up the contents of the milk jug first, before transferring?

After that, fill out the paperwork, take it to the nearest FedEx (which would

have to be the following day), an pay for it to be shipped overnight. And

collect it on a Sun, Mon, Tues, or Wed, so that it will be shipped on either a

Mon, Tues, Wed. or Thurs.

Am I interpreting the directions right? Lab kits piss me off. I'm still

reading through 8 of them. This on fasting, this on this day of week, this

ships in the lab, this you ship yourself, this you schedule a pickup, this you

freeze, insurance this, no insurance that, blah blah blah.
