Guest guest
Hello, I joined this group awhile ago because my step father has prostate cancer and I wanted to learn more about it. My mother has a question she wanted to me to ask you. So here it is, thank you in advanced for any help you can give. A year ago my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer with a psa of 650 and was told it was in all his bones. After a year on hormone therapy it appears that he has become hormone refractive, because his psa is rising again. Once someone becomes hormone refractive, how long before the bone pain returns. I have been told my husband has about a year to live, but wonder how long before he is unable to function. He is a long time smoker and still smokes, and has a terrible gagging type of cough. Thank you, Joy
