Guest guest
Hi ! I am and thanks for puting a big smile on my face! I am laughing so hard right now when you mentioned holding the door open with your crutch for a regular person. lol lol Big hugs to you for your wonderful postive attitude....it lifted me up! just to say hi Hi everyone! my name is and I was dx'd about 2 years ago, although, like most, I can trace symptoms back a number of years. I am 50 and have 2 sons..26 and 21 who are wonderful!I am so happy to have found a group of such positive people! I have been involved with quite a few groups that are so negative. In my opinion there are alot worse things that can happen to a person than MS so I want to live and be upbeat and happy! I often laugh at myself and my "stumblings". I walk with 1 crutch(the clip on kind) which I call my dance partner and my favorite thing to do is to use it to hold open a door at a store for a "regular" person. The looks on their faces are priceless and they often don't know what to do! (LOL)Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and tell everyone how happy I am to be here! talk to you all soon,

Guest guest
Hi I'm Maureen. I was diagnosed a year and a half ago. I'm 40, married and have a 14 year-old daughter. I love your attitude! I look at my MS the same way. When I was finally diagnosed I was relieved because I wasn't crazy afterall. It made sense to me! The reaction from some of my family and friends was so different than mine. One of my sisters was unconsolable. She cried everytime we spoke and I had to cheer HER up! And my best friend was " devastated " and couldn't talk to me about it. LOL A year and a half later and my good attitude has helped them come to terms with it a little more. I'm realistic and know that while I could get worse in time, I'm alive and able to enjoy things. I'm in a much better position than some. Welcome to the group. I look forward to reading more from you. ~mo~ > Hi everyone! my name is and I was dx'd about 2 years ago, > although, like most, I can trace symptoms back a number of years.
