there are a few issues that can cause nail bed pain, blisters on hands and lumps on legs and stiff necks and headaches. did all these symptoms start at the same time? Are these your only symptoms? With EN you can get a little foggy brain but I don't think you would have issues with spelling. I just reread your stuff. do you have a fever? Are you keeping track of all your symptoms?Did you get an absolute confirmation on EN?you have many different symptoms and the issues with dizziness, headaches, neckaches, backaches. I would just for curiosity sake get a second opinion and make sure your doctor addresses all symptoms before the diagnosis. To me, it doesn't sound like typical EN, which I have had for years. What are all the blood tests that you have had?sorry for all the questions.ML Gemmill Thanks, for the replies. Much appreciated. I don't think my Dr. knew to much about this condition. I did ask her for the blood test, so my thyroid levels have been tested, just waiting on the results. louise, I did read your information the other day...I was skimming through the notes, and yours intrigued me. I went to our local health food store, but they were out of wheatgrass juice. I was concerned that I may be low in zinc, so I purchased Salus,a non medicinal herb mixture with Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. Anyhow, another strange little symptom is sometimes I'll feel a dull ache under my nail bed, not all fingers at once...it's just been on one or two of my fingers. Well, that's it for now, I'll keep you posted. Dawn,

One thing I learned the hard way, before I found this group. When you feel tired and drained, by all means, rest!!! Even if you feel well, don't push it. I did, went bowling a few games, and wore myself out and had to take a 5 hour nap. But still felt beat afterwards.

Take care, you have lots of support here, and might even learn more here then you would from your dr.

Yes, I'm keeping track of my symptoms. I also have a little bit of stomach upset...it's not anything major but a little disconcerning nonetheless. I actually feel pretty good today, the best so far. I just hope it doesn't kick my butt tomorrow. Anyhow, I'm going to call in for my BT results on Mon. If nothing shows up, and if I'm not feeling any better, I'll definitely pursue this further. I'm not one to take my health lightly. Thanks for the feedback. This is a very strange condition, from what I've read on this forum so far. A lot of very good information. I really appreciate having a venue in which to explore and learn about this further. Dawn> > >> > > > Hi All,> > >

Stomach? I literally ate only tangerines and strawberries for the months of May and June this year as I couldnt face anything else. When i started to get some cramps I forced down an oatcake with marmite to get some salt into me. Naturally I lost a good deal of weight (no bad thing ;-) ).

Eat what takes your fancy and keep the fluids up. You can go a long time on just fluids.
