Guest guest
I bought a bunch a few years ago, but it smelled so bad that not only would Mit not touch it, it stank up the whole kitchen. Ended up throwing it out. It may work if you can keep it in the fridge sealed up and if you can get your kid to take it. Secure has been recommended to me a couple of times over the last year or so. It is a hydrolyzed white fish supplement. We have avoided sea food because of the toxicity issue. I read a thing on it that it is used with great success in getting aids/cancer patients to gain weight. I am desperate to get some weight on them. Has any one tried the product? I would appreciate any feedback, good or bad. http://www.propernutrition.com/seacure.html --------------------------------- Yahoo! Photos Ring in the New Year with Photo Calendars. Guest guest
Hi, My daughter can swallow pills. I will have to mix it in something for my son. Do you think it would help the smell if I put it in the freezer? How much does your son weigh and how much do you give him? Did you start low and work up? They are both on NAG, but that sounds like something completely different. S Gouker wrote: , My son has been on this for a couple of months. It was prescribed by our GI not our Dan. I haven't noticed anything major as far as improvements, but, no negatives either. Yes, it smells very fishy. I keep it in the fridge and every now and then I think what is that smell I just open the capsule mix a little pear sauce with it and say open up here's your fishy one. My son (5 years old) takes it just fine. He doesn't like the smell and will wrinkle up his nose but, we've always just insisted on taking the supplements *tough love* and he'll take anything now in pear sauce even yeast aid which is really nasty Did you get is directly from the manufacturer? Any experiences with Seacure? My kids both have real trouble gaining weight. My 3.5 year-old weighs 28 lbs and my 6.5 year-old weighs 37 pounds. Guest guest
It might help putting it in the freezer I suppose, honestly the smell really doesn't bother me much so I just have it in the door of the fridge. weighs 42 lbs and takes one capsule a day. I actually started him right out at one capsule a day and he did fine. Hope that helps. Any experiences with Seacure? My kids both have real trouble gaining weight.
