Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to remind people about the ish Herbal Skill Share. The

aim is to get together with other herbalists and have a good blether about

all things herbal. It is on Sunday the 26th August at Tir-na-nOg just

outside Glasgow. The location is fairly central so I hope lots of you can

make it. There is a woodland walk with lots of herbs to be found (but feel

free to bring seeds to scatter…) There are also two large workshop spaces.

Cath suggested a plant/seed swap on the day so please bring anything you

have to spare to share.

A few people have offered to lead talks and discussions including autism and

children, energy healing and plant spirit journeys. If anyone else has a

burning topic to discuss then let me know.

The cost is £12 which includes venue hire and a two course lunch.

Tir-na-nog will need to know how many to cater for, so if you are coming

please could you let them know in advance (preferably with as much notice as

possible).

A few people have expressed an interest, but can’t make it on the day, so if

the event is successful there is no reason why it could not be repeated at a

later date.

If you know of anyone who doesn’t have e-mail (or doesn’t check their in-box

regularly) please pass this information on.

I have attached the original e-mail which contains the contact details for

Tir-na-nOg. I look forward to seeing lots of you there on the day.

Thanks

Jean

Hi All,

I am organising a herbal ‘skill share’ at Tir-na-nOg near Drymen (just

outside Glasgow) on Sunday 26th August from 10.30 am to about 5pm

The idea is to give herbalists from all over the chance to get together for

a day, and have a good blether.

I was thinking of splitting the day up into 3 sections of up to 1.5 hours

each (one before lunch and two after lunch). There are two large rooms to

use, which means if enough people are interested there could be up to 6

discussion topics/workshops, even more if the sun is shining and we can be

outside on the grass.

So far Doris Duncan is willing to lead a workshop on using energy healing,

and Maureen has offered to teach shamanic journeying to meet plant

spirits, and lead a session giving healing back to the plant kingdom. I had

wondered about discussion groups on specific diseases, a herb walk (weather

permitting), SSR or case history discussion (if anyone has any tricky

patients?). Please contact me if anyone has anything else they would like to

teach, or see discussed, or if you need more information. My phone number is

07816 459542(w) or 01436 671408(h)

The cost will be £12 per person which includes a two course lunch, teas,

coffee and room hire. All the food is organic, vegetarian and very yummy

(they also do exceptionally good cake). Any special dietary requirements can

be catered for if you let Tir-na-nOg know when booking.

If anyone knows of other herbalists who don’t check their e-mails, please

could you phone them and let them know so they don’t miss out (as I have

just missed the NIMH mailing).

There is also space for 7 people to stay at Tir-na-nOg in dormitories and

loads of B & B’s near by.

Spaces are limited to 40 people, so please book early by phoning 01360

449300,

or by sending a cheque made payable to ‘Angelcraft’ to:

Tir-na-nOg,

The Stables,

Balfunning,

Balfron Station

G63 ONF.

If anyone is interested in accommodation please contact Oona at Tir-na-nOg

on 01360 449300, or e-mail: info@...

The venue has a website which has directions: www.tirnanog.co.uk

<http://www.tirnanog.co.uk/>

I hope to see lots of people there.

Thanks

Jean
