Guest guest
I woke up this morning feeling much better, but still had IBS when I ate or moved. Called my Dr. who said to double the IBS meds and as soon as I could tell they were working, to come in. The headaches are just part of ankylosing spondylitis, and will come and go as it flares. He said if what he prescribed doesn't get rid of them to double it and if that doesn't do it, to call him. He also said the the AS progresses, I'll get more and more headaches, and will need to do things for 30 minutes, then lay down and get off my spine for 30 minutes. The better I can learn to pace myself in small increments, the better I'll feel. He gave me all his samples of Cymbalta, so I have enough for the first month. Then I have to report to him on how much it helped the depression, and how much it helped the fibro. If it helps the depression, then I can get off Remeron, which causes weight gain. And if it helps the fibro a lot, I'll be able to reduce the prednisone, which also causes weight gain. This is sounding good to me, and I'm feeling good for the first time in 10 days! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I only have 428 messages to go through! LOLOLOL Hugs, Dix

Guest guest
Thanks Rhee, Still having problems, but am learning what I can eat and how much I can move. I'm going to a gastroenterologist next week so they can find out exactly what it is that I have. IBS is a catch-all phrase for a variety of illnesses, just as arthritis is. They're going to figure out what specific illness I have so they'll be able to treat it better. Jo Re: WOOHOO!!! I'm back Yeah Dix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
