Guest guest
I put my father on high doses of flaxseed oil and pepper infused oil for macular degeneration and his hair regained its colour. He was 76 at the time. He was taking two to three table spoons a day. On the subject of hair, what advice would you give for women in their menopause with thinning hair, I generally work on hormonal balance, and hormone clearance with liver and hormone herbs, but advice on this would be appreciated, I would like to understand and be able to improve my treatment of this, as it causes real upset when women start to lose hair, thankyou
Guest guest
Firstly JUICE! Vale has reports of hair regaining colour while using his regimes. Chinese Medicine has many purported herbs for turning grey hair back. Notably He Shou Wu, However there have been reports in recent years of possible liver issues. Various formulas to do with restoring Kidney Yin that also indicate this property.Yes look at hormonal stuff, I've also used some of these formulas in PCOS/deficient states to regulate hair growth issues. Although you're talking 6 months ...Personally I use henna! Gives excellent coverage for 6-8 weeks, non toxic safe purely plant based. Gives a nice two tone effect!Lorraine Lorraine Hodgkinson MRCHMHERBS AND HELPERS6, Butts Fold, Cockermouth,Cumbria, CA13 9HY. Guest guest
Just noticed you asked about hair loss too. This needs wider consideration regarding the causes. Don't forget to check medications, anaemia, other conditions e.g. low thyroid etc. General nutritional state etc. Stress levels, recent hair treatments etc. Hormonal issues again.Again besides all this I usually use a combination of blood tonics think of Dang GUI - sinensis etc. He Shou Wu as mentioned, Lycium etc. I also use a ready prepared tablet in some cases. Please contact me off list about this:info@...Restoring blood and Kidney nourishing herbs are key as both nourish hair which is said to be the manifestation of both.LorraineLorraine Hodgkinson MRCHMHERBS AND HELPERS6, Butts Fold, Cockermouth,Cumbria, CA13 9HY.
