Guest guest
I'm 67 have been fighting this for about 7 years. Right now have two nodules forming on legs so will have to visit doctor for injections of cortisone under the skin at the nodules. This treatment seems to work the best for me. The object in my case is to catch it early and prevent it from spreading into the ankles/knees or becoming generalized. When in Mexico one winter, a doctor actually took about 20 minutes to talk to me about it. My doctor uses Triamcinolone - Acetonide Injectable Suspension USP with a fine needle and he adds some anesthetic to it so is doesn't hurt quite so much. This treatment has fewer side effects than taking an oral medication. Hope this is helpful. Maggie
