Guest guest
Ok Jim my friend, you made me cry with your sweet message. I needed a positive today. Healing hugs my friend JoyceSubject: Re: OT: KPU (was) checking in/longTo: Lyme_and_Rife Date: Monday, April 26, 2010, 11:18 AM Hi and Joyce, , I feel you are fortunate to have Joyce here who's the Queen of KPU and can help you to better understand it as she has been doing this protocol for some time now.. Having read all of her posts about KPU, to say the least, it is a complicated protocol and I feel anyone who uses this protocol benefits greatly from Joyce's experience with it.. Not only has Joyce the most experience with KPU, she also has been methodical in keeping the group informed about her experiences with it... I've known Joyce for about 4 years now, we are both friends and warriors in this battle called Lyme.... For me personally, I have Joyce to thank for getting me to initially try MMS... She kept writing to me privately saying good things about it, and I basically was ho-hum... Finally she wrote "What are you waiting for!" Well that finally got me started on MMS and then many more on my groups also followed my lead and have also benefited... . And since my best gains have come using MMS, I have only Joyce to thank for this.. :-) So , I don't think you could ask for a better person to be ahead of you in this KPU protocol... :-) Just be prepared, the one thing Joyce has made clear, this is one tough protocol to do, but there may be good benefits gained from doing it... Take care, Jim > > From: H > <40dayjourney@ ...> > Subject: Re: OT: checking in/long > To: Lyme_and_Rife@ yahoogroups. com > Date: Sunday, April 25, 2010, 9:19 PM > > > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > Hey ladies and all, > > Wow, Susie, I am overwhelmed just reading your email. ;-) Thanks for posting the links and such, I will get to them. > > I'm a little concerned as to the can of worms I've opened with the KPU. I am feeling so horrible, no b*tchy, no the queen of b*tches. Much, much worse than when I worked up to 4 teaspoons of MSM. I can barely contain myself, I want to scream and have no patience. Talk about rage - well I'm right on the edge. Joyce, is this normal? I'm not sure if it's the KPU protocol or the coleous forskohlii, so tomorrow I'll be off them both. And wait 'till Tues to restart KPU. I am very glad I haven't pushed my son as much. Good grief, he already feels this way constantly, this may just tip him over the edge. I think maybe I'll just stick with the B6 until we get our results. > > > I'm wondering why so many feel worse doing the KPU protocol at first, where as many (with psychological symptoms) have great relief within 3 days? > > This is rather confusing. I really haven't even changed much, I was already on zinc. Would adding B6, biotin, and a little manganese have such an effect? > > > >
Guest guest
Joyce, KPU results are in!So, I'm not sure if I even need bother asking, but from what I remember Dr K saying - you should take the lab values and double them due to deterioration. Is it anyone over 10 is positive? Here's our values:Me: 24Son: 15.8 (this is this very symptomatic son, irritable since birth)Son: 19.2 (this one, interestingly enough, is moody, but not irritable, and not as sick as the other)Friend:

Guest guest
Wow, interesting huh ! Glad you finally got them back! Though I don't know the reference range, he did say in the recent that video that you can pretty much double the values I believe because of how fasts they deterioriate! Did you ever learn from the lab why they don't like it when Dr. K has people freeze their samples and I think he does this so they don't deteriorate as fast. Did you freeze this sample? Guest guest
Hi . I do remember DK saying that. I did not use the lab u did so I am not sure about the numbers. You used Vitamin Diagnostics? Hopefully someone that did this lab will know. When do u see the doc? I think , and Thane used the lab u did.Wish I had an answer for u. Guest guest
and all, If this is true about the KPU test,to double the numbers, a lot of people that have KPU would look like they are neg until they double the numbers. Not sure if its the same for Bio-labs that I used. I think it was on the streamed video at the convention, if I remember right, that this was said. Is this where u heard it? Thanks for the reminder. Will run this by my doc. Guest guest
Well, I'm kind of assuming all the labs' reference ranges are the same (only because I haven't heard otherwise). Vit Diagnostics lists <15 as a reference. Which sounds right, from what I've heard. I will be doing a phone consult with Dr. EHS tomorrow. Although, I was impressed with her at the conference, she isn't booked for appts. They told me I could have a 15 minute free consult any time between 10 a.m. and noon. Again, I'm assuming she wasn't booked that entire time. That means she isn't getting a lot of return business or referrals. I like to hear, " We can't get you in for a month. " Plus, she only practices in this area two weeks/month. If I knew that labs and goal ranges, etc, I could use my ND or even local MD to order the bloodwork. Thankfully, they are both willing to run just about any test, but neither has knowledge of pyroluria. Do you know of any online support groups? I sure haven't found any. :-) Hi . Guest guest
, Not sure. I was thinking of You,Thane and others I know that I think were neg.Thane have u heard about this? I think u were neg, maybe I am wrong. Its a shame if people got results that were neg that r really positive. If anyone bought the dvd's of the latest convention could u please check it out and post what Dr K said? Thanks JSubject: Re: OT: KPU (was) checking in/longTo: Lyme_and_Rife Date: Wednesday, April 28, 2010, 4:42 PM This would definitely put me in the positive category as I was a 14 and 15 was supposed to be a positive. This puts me at a 28, which is in the positive range. I wonder how DK can say this with absolute certainty. > > From: H <40dayjourney@ gmail.com> > Subject: Re: Re: OT: KPU (was) checking in/long > To: Lyme_and_Rife@ yahoogroups. com > Date: Wednesday, April 28, 2010, 3:18 PM > > > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > Joyce, KPU results are in! > So, I'm not sure if I even need bother asking, but from what I remember Dr K saying - you should take the lab values and double them due to deterioration. Guest guest
Yes, DK, said basically if you were to pee and immediataly analyze it that your score would be higher. But, after 24 hours and who knows how long in the lab, the pyroles (?) break down. So, he said 'take your number and double it. Guest guest
i did mine through bio whatever it was called, not vit diagnostics. i froze the pee before i mailed it. their cutoff for certain kpu is 20, below 10 is clear negative, anything above is equivolcal. xos Joyce, KPU results are in!So, I'm not sure if I even need bother asking, but from what I remember Dr K saying - you should take the lab values and double them due to deterioration.
