Guest guest
A bit about me.. I was in my last " term " of Physical therapy school when I hurt my back.. Basically I was 5 months and one 2 month internship from being a PT. Well my back started killing me and I couldn't do the requisite lifting and bending and resistance movements to be a PT... So now I am getting a MS in Exercise science with a graduate certificate in Complementary Medicine and Wellness... I am also applying to medical school hopefully to begin next fall... I want to be a pain management doctor when I grow up... I know I feel more confidant with a woman, I guess I expect them to be more empathetic. I would love to know my doctor has been through what I have been through, so when a patient calls at 9am and says I need to be seen right now, I know that a next day apppointment won't work! Also, I love medicine. I have spent the past 8 years focusing on a medical type career that I can't imagine life without it... About my job, Right now I am in the Workers comp limbo. I work for the only comprehensive cancer center in Detroit (For legal reason's I can't say the name)... My job helps get people hooked up with the right team of doctors... Like if you have breast cancer and need surgery, I set up that appointment, but if they tell me after surgery you will probably need chemo or radiation, I set up those appointments too. Most of my job I spend sitting on the phone or reading through medical records, but I get to help people in a medical setting so that makes me happy... Anyways, I too have tried the epidural steroid injections, and all I have to say is I pray it works better for you than me! And I am with you anything that gets your mind off the pain, is a good thing! And for me, and I am sure many of you, helping others helps you not think about your pain! Blessed Be, Bekkah

Guest guest
Thanks for posting about my Effexor ??? What you said made a lot of sense to me. Now i am taking 1 Effexor at night and 2 in the morning and NO Ambien at all. If i am not having pain before bedtime i will not take any pain meds. So the Effexor is basically all at night. I am hoing that this change of Effexor at night will help with my sleeping all day. Thanks again.
