Guest guest
Hi everybody A friend had surgery for Mortons Neuroma 5 weeks ago. The wound on her foot became infected but she was given Abx. which cleared it up for a while. It is now quite bad and her GP has taken a swab as he thinks it may be Staph. In the meantime she has been given Erythromycin - she has tried tea tree oil, is taking lots of Vit C and I think she said she was considering Neem oil The wound has reopened, and is " oozy and disgusting " . I was going to suggest Manuka honey but haven't used it personally so would be grateful for advice on how to use it - how much, how long should the dressing be kept on, etc. etc. I also read some research a while ago about essential oils that were effective against MRSA and seem to remember these included Rosemary, Thyme and possibly oregano? Also thought an internal mix of Hydrastis or Berb. v./Eupatorium per./Galium/ would be helpful. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
