Guest guest
Lots of things can affect the memory and the speech patterns: the meds, the stress, the uhm...hearing..., your or someone else's; I KNOW I told my family that; just as I KNOW that I DIDN'T tell my son the other! We have some fun with charades at my house, if I can't find the word, to try to keep things light. They know I mean "frig" when I say "closet. Might as well laugh at it.. Sam in Boston where the rain washed away MOST of the snow... Lori wrote: I think the freak memory is hereditary. It's the same with my dad and seems so far to be the same with my kids. Almost photographic, but not quite. A little different :-) No circulation tests. All I've really had done is the bloodwork which was a couple of months ago now, and the neuro test last week. Something is going on, and I know there's a new antibody blood test that helps screen for MS. I'm not sure if it's available in the US?Canada yet, but it was developed in Austria and should be here. It's a lot cheaper than an MRI and wouldn't have the waiting list so I'm going to try to work up the nerve to ask my dr abt it next time, depending on what he has to say. I have to go in every month for my B 12 shot, anyway. All I can say is thank god for spellcheck! I'm in the same boat, some days worse than others :-)
