Researchers at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha have been working with patients whose cancer has spread from the prostate to the lymph nodes. They're using a treatment that combines high doses of radiation and chemotherapy and the result, they say, could save lives. Gordon Hauptman, had the treatment, " I feel absolutely great. " " The double edged sword however is that as you increase that radiation dose there is a potential to have a higher risk of complications, " Dr. Enke, Oncologist Right now, the treatment is still being studied. It's only been tried on three men, but doctors say, all are doing well.
