Advice for Rife Machine Purchase, Please

Hi all,I know quite a few folks have asked for advice about which machine to purchase lately so I hate ask again -- but knowledge is power and experience is even better. So I'm asking . . . I know group members have lots of experience, so here goes!I'm researching for friend who also has lyme but is way too sick to do

this. Since my machine is a loaner I never had to do this on my own. I

thought it would be fairly easy and straight forward. Not!I've looked at the information Jim sent out with websites listed, etc. Much of it is way too technical for me to understand -- my degree is in computer science, not electrical engineering. :-)From the information I've gleamed so far, it seems the EMEM5 is a good, solid machine to start with. Is this correct? Who in the group has had good success with it? Is it programmable at all or manual control? My friend does not want a coil at this point.Will make some phone calls to a couple of the EMEM5 builders this afternoon but hoping for a little feedback before then.Thank you so much!Kara
