Guest guest
I looked at your photo and can remember mine when they looked like that. Mine escalated when they gave me progestrin for some female problems and they swelled up so much that everyone of the nodules broke open. They say it is EN for me, but I have never heard of EN breaking open and taking forever for the sores to heal and now I have scars all over my legs from the open sores. My regular Dr. had me on numerous rounds of antibiotic oral and creams before they finally healed. He sent me to the derma. dr. for biopsies etc. and they took me off of all hormones I was on. I have not had a problem in 5 years other than some small amount of swelling at times. I have joint pain, but at 57 I am not sure if it is age related or something else
Guest guest
I also had nodules that ulcerated and left big scars on both legs. I was biopsied and it came back as erythema induratum. The ulcerations lasted for over a year and just recently scabbed over. Even with the ulcerations gone, I still get occasional painful nodules, very painful joints and a bad case of tendenitis on the left foot. I also have chronic fatigue, flu-like symptoms and sore throats. Even with these symptoms, I'm just glad that the ulcerations are gone. They were very painful and daily wound care was so debilitating.
