Guest guest
Kim, We only began discussing me having a TR about 2 1/2 months ago but it seems like years! I see you have a daughter named Casey. DH also has a DD Casey but she is 16. We already have 8 children between the two of us, but his 5 we don't see (psycho ex). :-( Hopefully by next year at this time we will at least be PG with our very own little Baby Bop (my chosen name since Rhonda has Little Bit and has Bean!) Welcome Kim and I'll be anxious to learn more about you! J. --- Kim wrote: > Hi ! > It's hard to wait for the money isn't it? Dh and I > have been waiting for > years! Feels like centuries! Guest guest
Yes the 17th is still available. I haven't scheduled my TR yet...I was waiting on my " buddy " and also the rest of my money (which I will have on the 7th). I have already had my consultation and will be calling to schedule as soon as I know I have my money in hand and I have a definite " buddy " . Just let me know what you decide to do...I would love to have you as a " buddy " ! Thanks, P. (Florida) Kim wrote: Hi ! The 17th would be a great surgery day. That's one day before DH's birthday. It would be a great birthday present! Is the 17th still available though? I keep hearing about Dr. Levin's assistant having surgery. That's cool that we had our TL's the same year and we both had a Pomeroy! When is you consultation? Guest guest
I hope you will get pregnant too! That is sweet that you would come and help me if you were closer. :0) I will pray for your hubby to get work, but in God's perfect timing. Maybe He will make sure hubby is home for the surgery and then be on a big job afterwards! Blessings to you, Ingrid P.S. Let me know how your consult goes. That's on Wed. of next week, right? We just celebrated our 8th anniversary on Christmas Day. Yippee!
Guest guest
Hi Kim, DH and I had an early supper at my favorite resterant last night, he had prime rib, I had steak and shrimp. Then we went to a Tom Cruise movie, Vanilla Sky. It was different, not something I'd go see again, but the snuggle time was nice with DH. We then took a nice drive, came home and had a family Monopoly tournament with our girls. DH won and I'm glad because he usually doesn't. Today we went to see my mom while she dialyzed, then drove back to their town and did a little shopping. Tonight we are making homemade pizza and doing DH's resume, he's applying for a part-time position as our local EMS coordinator. I'm excited because he's PERFECT for the job. How was your New Year brought in? and thanks for asking about mine. Hugs, J. --- Kim wrote: > , > > How was your New Years? > > Kim Schulz > Vancouver, WA > TL: (Pomeroy) 11/10/93 > TR: 01/?/02, Dr. Levin > ME: 36 > DH: Wade 34 (Married 5 Years) > DD: 15 > DD: 14 > DD: Casey 8 > -- Re: Kim > > > > > > > > Hi Kim and welcome! Guest guest
Hi Kim, Please go ahead and book your surgery for the 17th...I think he will take up to 5 people and if it's meant to be for me to have mine on the 17th also then it will be. I have my money in hand (the school dispersed the checks early) so I am only waiting on DH to decide what he wants to do. I keep checking flights and the weather in Louisville so I am still anticipating going on the 17th!! I will keep you updated. By the way, do you know who the person is that is already confirmed?? Is it Colleen? I have not heard from her at all. Let me know what you decide to do. Thanks. P. (Florida) Kim wrote: Hi ! Argggggg! I don't know what to do. Guest guest
Kim, I can't believe how many there are of us waiting to get their TR's. My advice to everyone now who is considering getting a TL is that you never know what the future holds so NEVER do anything permanent to your body unless it's a life-and-death choice. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and that we're both fertile again very very soon! Hugs, J. --- Kim wrote: > Hi , > > I hope you find a great buddy! I am new here as I said a few weeks ago I have been waiting for my operative notes and pathology reports to be mailed to me for over a month, everytime I call I get a stupid recording and I would leave a message, but no one returned my call. I saw someone post Dr Levin's email address on here earlier today (God bless you) so I sent him and e-mail. This morning. He just called me! Not only did he get ahold of the records department (they are mailing them as we speak) I also get to have my consultation on the 29th of this month. I haven't even met the man and he has made my week. Now just keep me in your prayers that when he looks at my records he will have good news for me and say I have enough tubes to to the Job! God bless this site and all the woman who continue to pray for each other on here. Love and baby wishes to all! Guest guest
Great to hear everything went well, you get some rest and your back to normal real soon. Love and Baby Wishes, Chrissy Kim wrote: Hi! Sorry it took me so long to let you know how I am doing. But here goes.. The flight went great and both DH and I went to sleep when we got to the room and pretty much slept all night (except for ordering some room service and watching a little TV). We were exhausted! The next day I showed up at the outpatient center, checked in, and went through all the prepping stuff. Then they called DH into the room with me and gave me something VERY relaxing. I kind dozed on and off until Dr. Levin and Venica came in and said we were almost ready to go. When they brought me into the surgery room I don't remember much and then I was out. The next thing I remember was waking up in the recovery room. I was pretty out of it and I remember they gave me more pain medication. That night and all the next day was pretty rough on me and I don't want to give all the details because I don't want to panic or worry anyone that hasn t had their TR yet. My case was NOT typical at all. I have problems with anxiety attacks and the surgery must have triggered some pretty bad ones. I had no reason to believe this would happen and there is absolutely no reason for anyone else to have the same problem. Even with the problems, I'd do it all over again. Dr. Levin was ABSOLUTELY wonderful and checked on me alot, even before and during his way out of town, to make sure everything was alright. (Thank you sooooo much Dr. Levin! :-)) And, as he promised, I was fine by the day we had to leave and catch the plane home. I am REALLY sore but VERY happy to be whole again. I understand the frustration that Ingrid was talking about. It is SOOOO hard to not be able to be as independent and active as you're used to. I'm real impatient and frustrated with not being able to move very well. But I'm reading lots of fertility books to keep my mind off of that part of it. And trying to dream alot about babies! :-) Thank you for being concerned about me and caring. That means sooooo much to me! I can't wait to get caught up on how everyone is doing and to be able to e-mail more. Right now I have to rig myself up all weird-like in a recliner chair next to my computer. LOL. It doesn't work for very long before I'm really sore. So this e-mail took me quite a while to type. But I want you to know that I'm thinking about you all and wishing you the best.
