Guest guest
, When I was first getting bad, my mom refused to take me home until they did something... She actually left the biulding, drove off, and then they called her cell because at that point the other patiets were getting concerned about a person in the other room moaning in pain.... Heck, if your doctors don't think it is that bad, offer to stay with them for the weekend! Bekkah
Guest guest
Hello Janine, The nurse in me can't help but to reply to what your doctor did. How un empathetic and inappropriate he is, laughing when you are screaming in pain!!! This burns me up. Please find another pain management doctor and fire this guys a**!!! I would also report him to the AMA and any physician's board possible. He sounds sadistic and has no business practicing medicine. Does he also laugh at the grieving family members when he has a patient that dies? At this rate I wouldn't put it past him. You don't have to put up with what he did to you. In fact, I would do my best to sue the pants off of him. I hope that your pain get better and please know that I will keep you in my prayers if that is okay. Guest guest
Everyone, My trigger point injections kill! Even thoughb they yse the most lidocaine and other numbing medication it hurts so bad. It sends my whole back into spasms... I have learned to bring my bite guard so I can clench my jaw and grind my teeth without doing damage. My doctor seems a bit more sympathetic, but I don't think any doctor can really get it unless they have been there! Hope we have have met the quotas for trigger point inject pain, and actually all pain in general, it has to eb someone elses turn tomorrow! Guest guest
I find your Dr.'s laughing appalling. I'd report him, write him a letter telling him you have reported him and why, and find a new Dr. I'd also refuse to pay him beyond what my insurance did. When I did that to a Dr., he became very upset. I told him he had his choice: malpractice suit or dropping his financial charges. He dropped the charges, and I dropped him. Unfortunately, it seems to be the one thing they understand. Dix
