I am wondering how much of my recent agony has been caused by the artic cikd &

how much has been conig fron Mother Earth's build up to all of the earthquakes.

Maybe I got a double whammy! I know that when Mother Earth is building up to

something I will often feel bad & so with a weather change.

So you guys please tell me how do you react to cold & weather changes?

Plenty...suffering now for rain and cold front coming in. fluctuations with

barometric pressure affects a lot of people especially those to sensitivity to

the elements. Extreme sensitivity is also one of the quirks a lot of Fibros

have....I can't wear watches. They always stop. I jokingly say it is because of

my magnetic personality, lol.

I have the same problems as well.  Have really been hurting more than usual for

about a week.  I have been going to the chiropractor 2 or 3 times a week for

the last 3 weeks.  I know when fronts are moving in, I can really tell a

difference.  I too have problems with watches.  I just buy cheap ones and wear

until they die which is not long.  The expensive kind do the same thing.

HI MARIA AND JOANNE AND EVERYONE ELSE:

I¹VE BEEN QUIET FOR A WHILE NOW. I HAVE BEEN VERY VERY BUSY LATELY. MY

HUSBAND RETIRED AND SO THAT MEANS HE IS HOME FULL TIME. THAT MEANS MY

SCHEDULE IS VERY VERY DIFFERENT. ALSO, ONE OF MY CHILDREN

MOVED BACK IN WITH US INTO THE APARTMENT BELOW US. THAT TOO CHANGES OUR

SCHEDULE QUITE DRASTICALLY. I WILL ALSO BE AWAY MOST OF FEBRUARY SO THAT

HAS BEEN A LOT OF PLANNING AS WELL.

I JUST WANTED TO RESPOND. I WAS SO SURPRISED to hear about the watch thing.

I never knew anyone else ever had that problem. I had it my whole life. It

makes me wonder about magnetics because the weather has a very magnetic

quality to it. Think about lightning and storms. Also in eastern medicine

they teach you about chi which acupuncture is based on.

Very interesting to think about ay?

I hope you are all having a happy new year.

Sincerely,

rosemarie

Welllll, HELLLOOOOO There, Rosemarie!

Long time no hear from you, am glad you are doing well.

As far as husband now being full time house companion...do I understand! Mine

was off for four months and, wow, is that a different life. Plus, you have

children moving in, Yikes, what an upheaval. But in the same token, you have

your family unit around you. Though it may get a bit crowded and overwhelming,

to many of us it is a part of family life we will never be able to have.

You are so blessed, lovely friend. And how is the new beautiful bambino???

I wanted to share with you and our fibro group more on the magnetic thingee.

Last weekend, my husband took me to get a few groceries at a different grocery

store. This store had a wierd steel wall in back of the spice shelves. When I

stood to reach for the spice, it seemed like a hand pushed me away from the

shelves. I tried to approach it again and became so dizzy, I began falling back

and my husband grabbed me in time before I fell on the other side of the

shelves. We went to the other side to investigate. It was a refigerating unit

that housed liquor. What was happening was that the large motor was on the side

of the spice shelves causing a magnetic whirl affecting those who were sensitive

to 'the force', lol. I have experienced this 'force' on many occasions. I can

go on a soapbox on this subject but I will keep it short...like me, lol.

By the way, when young, metal objects(like a full wall of trays) on walls

would fall when I would walk in the room, faucets turned on, etc. I

don't mention this much...who would?

Anyway weird kid with wierd stuff has followed me up to this day, lol.

Hope you and your family are doing well. The same goes to all my fibro

friends.

Courage and steadfastness to all.

HI :

Yes, it is an upheaval but it is family and I dolove having my family around

me. So its not bad, just different. My routine is no longer. Now, I take

each day one day at a time.

My grandchild, Nova is doing wonderfully. He is so big now and smiles all

the time. He is healthy and happy and bubbly.

I think that¡¯s amazing you have those electrical/magnetic things happen

around you. Yes, what does one make of them. Mine is pretty much watches

and inexplicable pain. LOL and the pain is affected by the weather no

question about it.

We had some pretty cold weather here recently, in florida, and I noticed it

of course. Now its warming up again. Makes me feel better. Plus one of the

big changes since my husband retired is that we do lots of yoga now. Almost

every day. That makes me feel better too. Keeps me more flexible and less

stiff feeling in the joints.

Our family has gotten much closer lately because the child that moved back

in is getting a divorce. So we are rallying around him. So sad, but these

things happen a lot these days. Brad Pitt now. Can you believe it?

Well I¡¯m off to yoga again.

Nice talking to you and I hope you are well. You are a good example

to us of someone who keeps the good fight and hels all of us do better.

Sincerely,

rosemarie

Hi Joanne:

Thank you for your kind words. You too are a great example of a true

fighter in this disease process and returning to the natural life that was

intended for us to live. All this plastic/toxic/preservative/chemical world

we live in is making many many people sick. Those of us with fibro just do

not the get the diagnosis others get like those who have rheumatoid

arthritis or cancers or heart disease but I believe they have the same

problem that we have. Too many toxins in our life. Our air is toxic, our

water is toxic and so is much of our food now that its full or preservatives

and pesticides. So the more natural we eat the better we feel and the

stronger our immune system gets. Just because fibro is difficult to

diagnose I think does not make us worse off. At least its not terminal like

cancer is. However, once they put us in their PDF we get many drugs

recommended too. Then what? Not for me.

I recently began yoga again in earnest. Almost every day. I am amazed once

again how much better it makes me feel. More stable, stronger and less

wobbly with the balance thing. I wake up easier and I also have a sense of

well being quite often now. I do yoga in a very hot room, 105 degrees. This

makes my muscles relax and I can do so many more things that way. Regular

yoga in a regular room is harder for me because I am stiff and sore most of

the time. So hot yoga is for me and my husband likes it too. You sure do

sweat out toxins.

I have been following the texts recently just have not had time to reply as

often. I am goin to India next month to do yoga there for 3 weeks. That

will be fun. So you might no hear from me again for awhile.

Have a wonderful new year and I am so pleased about your flea market and

plant selling you are doing. How productive and inventive you are not

mention a green thumb. :)

Sincerely,

rosemarie
