One Teaspoon is approximately 4 grams. If you look on the side of the

can, it will tell you how many grams of sugar per serving.

Probably best to acknowledge that sugared softdrinks are pretty much

lethal in terms of sugar and calories and switch to diet.

Each can of pop (gosh, I haven't heard it described as pop since I moved

from Illinois to Georgia 20+ years ago) has approximately 9 teaspoons of

sugar per 12 ounce can. Just sugar water with a little flavoring.

Greetings Group......My .02 cents worth:

Don't like Diet soda? Try this......3/4 diet soda and top off the cup with

regular. Adjust ratio to use the least regular you can. Try Coke and

Cherry Coke from the fountain at the fast food store. Makes the diet taste

go right away!

I also like the low end, cheep, soda at Krogers. It is called Big K, and

the diet Lemon-Lime is virtually tasteless, yet wet, cold and fizzy. Two 12

packs of 12 oz cans for 4 bucks! The cola is horrible. Comments?

Actually, I like the Diet Dr. K from Krogers. Another thought for those who don't like diet soda is that there are some out now with Splenda. They're not available everywhere, but if you can find Diet Rite, they have Splenda. There's Cola, Tangerine, White Grape, and Strawberry Kiwi. Most people I know like the Tangerine best.
