sometimes i wonder if the process of analysis can stunt a person's natural instinct to individuate. i don't know why this nags at me. i've been in analysis for years, and maybe i'm just wanting a break. i mentioned in another group though, when i am being creative (when i was acting, and i perhaps that is why i "drop" the acting topic consciously and unconscious so often, though not as often recently), acting, writing and now that i perform my writing, i feel more whole. i don't know. i just wonder if there is such a thing as too much analysis.

love,

Miriam

The otherpassage was also about 'natural' individuation but included someadditional comments about how the process came about by something elseunexpected would lead the conscious personality in an unexpecteddirection.
