Caregivers Gathering in 2008

Hello All-

Keep tucked away in thought that there will be a Caregivers Gathering in 2008.

A challenge has been set before me and I shall follow through with it. Also,

news has it that a mad ish woman will be attending the 2008 Gathering.

Look out U.S!! Talked with this evening, in length, lengthy, and a long

time :-)). We could have talked on for longer but Scotland is 6 hours ahead of

Iowa so I felt it best to end the call. Well, until the next time. It is my

blessing to have phoned her. We threw some ideas and thoughts together and

shall keep everyone informed as to what is in the making then start with what I

did in 2003. Hoping we can narrow down some dates and places so many caregivers

can meet. I shall post anything and everything as soon as I can.

Excited, once again, to meet others in the group!!

Well if we are going to show our lineage....I guess I'm a little mad

also....I've got Scotch, Irish, and French in me. My relatives on both sides all

came to the U.S. from Canada.

I always claimed to be a Heinz 57, you know...a little bit of this and a

little bit of that.

my heritage is swedish, danish, finnish, so i guess that could make me the mad

You know, Ativan may be bad for people with DLB (I haven't made my

mind up if it's just bad because it's sedative or if it's bad because

of something structural, but that's beside the point), but it's pretty

fun for those of us who take care of them. Not that I would *EVER*

advocate irresponsible use of pharmaceuticals, let alone controlled

substances, but one Ativan + One Margarita = 3 margaritas.

And it would be *COMPLETELY* irresponsible of me to advocate the

position that Provigil makes for wide-awake lively drunks.

COMPLETELY irresponsible.

UTTERLY unlike me.

I haven't mentioned to that my one grandma was a " Higgins " and the other

was a " Sutherland. " That makes me Irish and ish! LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in

a nh.

She was almost 89 when she died in '02. No dx other than mine.
