Guest guest
Has anyone in the group ever had their gallbladder removed? If so, what were the symptoms that caused the doctor to remove it? I have been scheduled for an ultrasound on Monday to determine if I have stones. I have had a "sick stomach" for a couple of days now with some intense belching and heartburn to go along with it. I was actually running a fever today and had to leave work after getting a pain that made me think I could be having a heart attack. Anyone? Guest guest
Hi, I had my gallbladder removed. Different people have different symptoms. (sound familiar?) I had terrible pain and pressure in my chest. After eating fatty foods I would vomit. I had some test done that showed that I had a stone but they waited 6 months to remove it because I had deferred pain meaning my pain wasn't in the typical spot for gallbladder. Nothing with me can be normal. But I do know that there are certain characteristics that make one more susceptible to having gallbladder disease. the 4 f's over 40,fair skin, female over weight. This is accordig to my doc and I saw it on ER (smile) The surgery isn't bad at all. But just some advice I also was recently diagnosed with gastric paresis my stomach doesn't empty properly (can be from MS) and the symptoms can be very similar. This test is done with eating a certain kind of egg and then having pictures taken of your stomach. Take care,
Guest guest
Lori, I had my gall bladder removed many years ago. Intense pain in the upper back and all around the mid-section. The worst pain I ever experienced. No problems ever since. Regards, Tom gallbladder problems Has anyone in the group ever had their gallbladder removed?
