To the list.......

I wondered how this was going to go.....

having seen lots of his postings on other groups.....

You know the term....

" Stir the pot..... "

Thought I would pass that along.....in case a few of you thought you had

done something ......

Nope....just normal.....

Subject: Wishing everyone well.

I came into this group with the hope I might be able to add to the

discussion of our disease. Unfortunately, however, some people here

already know everything, and there's no room for divergent opinions

about many things -- especially diet. It should be intuitively

obvious to even the most casual observer, that if low-carb were the

answer to all the problems with diabetes, and low-carb represented a

safe and reliable solution to nutritional needs, there would be no

reason for *intelligent* people to look elsewhere for a solution.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. Rather than to continue to

haggle over the benefits and harm of low-carb eating, I have

concluded that the honorable thing to do is to walk away and wish you

all well.

That makes me feel a lot better. I thought I recognized his name from

before. I hesitated a long time before extending an invite to MHD because of

the troublemakers there. But I want to help the diabetics who wind up there

and remain clueless because of the es of the world. I

personally don't mind arguing with a mulehead, but I think it's quite

upsetting to the group. If he or anyone else wants to tangle s'more, I'd

prefer to take it private.

Good place for it.. but then, *I* wasn't the one who did the

inviting.... nope, not me, na uh..

Cornfucious say, some who do blanket invite get strange bedfellows under

covers.

Did I miss something while I've been gone??? I don't understand the thing

about . I was trying to be nice to him since he apparently took

offense at something that I said. Would someone please tell me what's going

on. Maybe I'm just a little dense now after the death in our family and the

problems of trying to get someone to take me to the doctor and then trying

to get back home again.

Confused again.....

Actually, joining us came about because I made a post in

alt.support.diabetes that Jude didn't like, and he invited me to leave, and

made some remark about the list I moderate must not be doing very well.

emailed me, and you know the rest. I think that his leaving may have

been partially to do with a couple of administrative posts I made, such as

not " checking people out. " Whatever, I stand by my actions.

Yep, I heard that from one of the " contactees " .. A phone call at night

out of the blue, and clearly to intimidate by showing that he " knew

where she was " IMHO.

I'm very easily located also and am not intimidated easily... That's

after they get by the three dogs.

I hope not. I know he was a little cranked about the LC vs NonLC, but I

don't think that would be enough for him to throw in the towel.

He is an asset!
