Hi Deborah,I get mine at a nearby Feed 'n' Seed. They ostensibly carry it for use on animals, but say that most of their customers are buying it for themselves. I'd originally bought some at a natural food store, at much higher cost, but found that the roll-on, gel and bottled DMSO at the feed store to be the same quality and concentration, at less than half the price. Lena,I mix 1 heaping teaspoon of MSM in my water in the morning, along with vit C powder, Calm magnesium powder, and sometimes a pinch of stevia - not bad at all.L

MSM doesn't taste too great, but I would much prefer it over BS.  Calm magnesium has a lot of flavor and really masks a lot.  I think even lemon would help, but again, I think the MSM is better than BS.  I'll be interested to see what you think.

I've got a friend who drinks 4 teaspoons of it in one glass - that I couldn't do.:-)

 

Hi ,Between B.S. in water, cream of tartar in water, and lemon water all day, I still tend toward capsules, but I'll try MSM and see what it tastes like. Unfortunately I've got the type of tastebuds that just can't get around stevia. Tried every brand they've ever made. I envy people who like it. I could try xylitol, I suppose. 

Maybe I can mix B.S., C.of T., and MSM together and chug it. I've tried B.S. and C.ofT. and it's a fizzy weird that you have to swallow fast.

I haven't tried Calm mag. yet. Sounds nice. I can drink almost anything if it's just once a day, and then have 24 hours to get over the revulsion. (MMS was roughest) I'll try my MSM powder later and see what it tastes like. I haven't tried Calm mag. yet. Sounds nice. It comes in different flavors. I like the organic orange better than the Raspberry Lemon.  It is tart and a little sweet.  I like tart/sweet.

It would be nice, not to have to make capsules, as making salt capsules is a big enough thing as I take 13 to 15 a day.  That's what I was thinking.  3 kids, home business, husband at work and school, daughter looking at colleges ---- I'll suffer with taste ;-)

Oh, good grief, I am not that scientific.  It goes kind of like this............hmmmm, I should take some salt. Open a capsule, dip the large end in my jar of celtic salt, cap it off and swallow.  The O of E, I place about 7 drops in a capsule and take with a meal, usually 3x /day.  I think I'll go take some now! :-)

I bought mine at the health store - very expensive - like 26 or better for a 20 oz bottle. It really does seem to last and last! Is there a shelf life? I don't refrigerate!

Hi Lena,

have found this saves a lot of capsule filling... I have put as many as a doz

powdered supps in at once... Don't expect a pleasant flavor, but chugging it

down quickly and followed by a little juice does help and they all go to work

right away...

A friend of mine uses a straw - gets it to the back of the mouth with less taste buds.

The straw also helps bypass the teeth if you have lemon in the water, which, before metabolized is still a lot of acid on the teeth. °, L I guess I didn't mention I use a straw all of the time! discussion here involving neuropathy. It is the consensus of a few doctors that I have a post-lyme, autoimmune process going on that is causing neuropathy. I currently take an antibiotic which the doctors believe is acting as an anti-inflammatory and keeping the neuropathy under control. When I try to stop the antibiotic, the neuropathy flairs

up. The only other thing recommended to me is a treatment called IVIG [gamma globulin]. Apparently, this is being used in post-lyme patients with ongoing neuropathy and other autoimmune conditions.

I got it now! I guess I would not do the IVIG. But that's me and I don't have as much neuropathy as most - so if I did, I guess i would maybe try it. That stuff scares me too!

I would recommend that you see a NAET practitioner for your neuropathy. THe

neuropathy and inflammation are usually caused by an allergen and in this case

it could be something within your own body, such as acid, alkeline, hormones or

any other thing that your body is having an autoimmune reaction to. My

neuropathy completely goes away when I treat for the proper allergen. For me

Ammonia seems to be one of the biggest contributers as does plastics.
