Guest guest Posted January 17, 2002 Report Share Posted January 17, 2002 Hey, I lost .7 lbs. at weigh in tonight! It's not a big loss, but it's a loss, not a gain, and I'll take it any day! That makes 27.9 lbs. gone now... Also, I wanted to tell everyone about a wonderful gift my mother got me. It's a Polar M52 heart rate monitor, and it's so motivating! It has lots of great bells and whistles! In addition to the usual heart rate measurement, it'll tell you how many calories you burned in a workout, and what percentage of those calories is from the body's fat stores. It tells you how long you exercised, how many minutes were in your heart rate target zone, and what your average heart rate was for the whole workout...and it stores the information for recall later, if you're in a hurry in the morning! There's a fitness test, to estimate your heart's efficiency and health, and it will determine your personal heart rate targets based on the fitness test. It'll also do all this for a second user! Yee-hah! I exercised five days this week! I'm not missing that PDA I wanted at all... for now anyway!!<grin> Oh, and I wanted to congratulate Crys on your 10%!!!! Good for you!!!
