Guest guest
What a great night so far in the Olympics. I have been watching the beach volleyball for several days and have really gotten hooked on it. They cut away in the last set with it being so close, but when they got back on, US won it. Then Phelps came through again, I don't know how. I thought his mother was going to faint. Go USA. I'm sitting here watching the Olympics and missing everyone from the Gathering. Wish we could get together and talk and laugh. Cyber hugs to everyone, in Dallas ------------ --------- --------- ------ Welcome to LBDcaregivers. Guest guest
Hey Sandie, De Moines has their own gymnist, , in the Olympics. She won the silver, Yea, ! Two of our U.S. Gymnastic girls won the gold and silver. There are several from my area in swimming, baseball, and soccer. Everyday they are doing the news from my area, because the swim team that some of the Olympic kids are in are from this area. That stud Phelps is like Seabiscuit, the race horse, that brought hope to a broken down America during the depression. It's an exciting year at the Olympics for the U.S. I am thinking of going to the winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada in 2010. I see where they are starting to sell tickets in October of this year. Some lottery drawings for tickets have already begun. I don't know, it's just a thought. You all know, I can't leave Jim's side. I hate to buy tickets and then can't go. I don't know where Jim will be in two years. I guess I could buy tickets and if I don't go, sell them on E-bay or Criag's List. I have to do some deep thinking about it. Go U.S.A! Guest guest
Sandie, Thanks for the offer. I watched the Olympics and they took my mind off of missing everyone. Wouldn't it be nice if we could get together once a month, but I don't think I could handle all the traveling. The woman gymnast that won the gold trains in the Dallas area, so between us we were well represented at the Olympics. Good luck with you heart issues. in Dallas > I'm sitting here watching the Olympics and missing everyone from the Gathering.
