Guest guest
Annette, this is michelle again. I know what your talking about social security says that I owe them 22 thousand dollars that they overpayed me, and that I also owe them 3180 dollars for each of the boys that they supposedly overpayed me for them. I tried for 3 years to get it straightened out and still nothing so they take 40 dollars out of my Disability check until it is payed off. Itls gonna be along time. At least you are keeping the money and waiting until they figure out how to get there heads out of there asses. There has got to be a lawyer by you who takes on Social Security and they don't get paid until you get a settlement and he gets you social security payments. You have a disability so you should be able to apply by yourself. I you are chroically depressed and your doctor confirms it they will have to give it to you. E-mail me so we can talk more please. Prayers, Hugs, and Blessings sent to you from me and gypsy(my puppy)
Guest guest
> Remember my problems with the changes that were going to take affect and I was writing my senator etc... well social security has Annette, I can sure relate to your problems with SS. I worked p/t for several yrs & after all my trial work mos. etc, I was supposed to be able to make a certain amt. every month without them taking anything out because I only have SSDI not SSI. Every month I dutifully took in or mailed my checkstubs & never had a problem until they lost 2 yrs of them & said I owed thousands of $s. I least I could get it down to with waivers was $7,999. They are now taking out $50 a month until Dec. 2010!!! At first they told me it all had to be paid within 3 yrs. Several people told me that & even a disability advocate said I was lucky to only have to pay $100 a month. I'm glad I kept on fighting. Now I just started work again last month & I'm taking all my paystubs in by hand & having them sign off that I brought them in. There still is a little problem of what money is considered for what month. I get paid on the 6th (for the previous month 16-31) & the 21st for the 1st to the 15. They tell me 2 different things about that first check & I'm working flexible hrs so I can stay within the limit. As soon as I think I'm doing everything right they throw in a monkey wrench! I related about how hard it is to live on SSD. I tried not working for about a yr & I just got deeper & deeper in debt without even enough money to eat. Now I'm forcing myself to work 11 hrs a week just to survive. Good luck with your problems, Bev

Guest guest
It would be best if you continue to seek medical help. One cannot apply for SSD/SSI unless you have a medical condition that has lasted for at least 6 months documented and will last at least 2 years by a doctors thoughts. It all really goes by what the Dr.'s say so keep going ..even to get help for yourself...and establish that you are ill and need help I suggest.. Is there a helpline you can call to find out where services are in your area, so you can find shelter. Please take care of yourself. Annette blake gwinn wrote: Hi folks I hope you are all well.
