Guest guest
So, I was walking through Costco the other day and they were giving out sample of fish oil that looked like lemon yogurt. Just like my Barlean's Lemon Swirl. The Costco label said, "Nature's Fresh", but I looked on the bottle and Barlean's makes it (private labeled for Costco). The cost was $22 for 32 oz. I think I paid about the same price for 24 oz. at the sup store. The labels are ever so slightly different, as are the contents. Costco's is not in the refrigerator.I called Barlean's and they said it was basically the same. They add a bit of ascorbic acid so it needn't be refrigerated. We spoke quite a bit on their "emulsified' fish oil. She said that it is 90% more bio-available than standard fish oil. Two teaspoons are equivalent to about 20 capsules. She said that for those who are chronically ill that fish oil is better than flax (IDK) - no need to convert. The flavor is absolutely amazing! Kind of like the filling on lemon meringue pie - and absolutely no fishy burps.I hope this saves someone some $. At this price, I have the whole family on it. :-)
