Guest guest
Hi, what kinds of problems are you having? We have used them for rental and sales and they are working fairly well. The key thing we have found is to be sure the set screws are tight, otherwise they get wobbly. Also instructing the owners to check them periodically. Guest guest
That's one of the problems that we are having. The set screws keep falling out no matter how tight we get them. The pet is very active (even though she has DM). She keeps flipping herself over in the cart. They are sending us some larger wheels to see if this will help. They are also sending a replacement frame to see if it will work any better. I'm not sure what else to try. The company is being very helpful through this process. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.Veterinary Referrals Hospital of Hickory, RehabilitationAngie , RVT, CCRPFind us on Facebook! To: VetRehab Sent: Thu, March 10, 2011 3:38:41 PMSubject: RE: Walkin' Wheels Hi, what kinds of problems are you having? Guest guest
The flipping over may happen in any wheelchair. There are some wheelchairs where the wheels can be angled out for that. Maybe try Locktite for the set screws once you have it set where you want. Otherwise I am out of ideas. Marty Pease, PT, CCRP Canine Rehabilitation & Conditioning Group, LLC 3760 S.
