Guest guest
Butting in here, as usual. If there is a Vitamin World near you, go there. They have the best prices of any place I've seen on almost everything but especially Bromelain. I just bought a bottle of 500 pills for less than $12 and a bottle of 100 chewables for less than $6. trista_abeloe wrote: Akiba,How much do you take? Guest guest
Thanks . I've never heard of Vitamin World. I found it yesterday on the internet for 180, 500 mg tabs for $6.49. Wasn't sure if that was good or not. I'd like to find the chewables. Tristajerry plows wrote: Butting in here, as usual. If there is a Vitamin World near you, go there. Guest guest
We went to look at a possible new homeyesterday...all I can say is "slumlord". We drove for three hours over the scariest road I've EVER been on, and I have travelled ALL over this country... it was SO scary my bowels turned to liquid waste and when got there it was a REAL good thing there was TP available! But the house was horrid, rooms tiny, floor uneven (not good for a wobbly MS'er!) and the neighbours so close I got claustrophobia just being there! Not to mention bitten up by FLEAS! I have two cats and nary a flea among them, and I'd like to keep it that way! and the guy was just looking for the $$...there was alot of "I'm *going* to do this, and I'm *going* to do that..." Well DO it BEFORE you put the house on the market, ok? when he heard I had $$ his eyes had $$' in them and you heard an audible "cha ching" He said he'd take $150 to hold the house for us, and if we changed our minds he'd keep it!!! Well that helped us "change our minds" on the spot...he was a used appliance repair man, and we ALL know how *honest* they are LOL!!!! So we're staying put, at least until we find something better...Oh, and if the road there was bad, we took a different route home and it was WORSE!!! I've never been so scared in a road in my life!! Straight up and down mountains with hairpin turns, tired squealing no matter how much he braked for the turn... Ok, Bromelian...I took 1,000 (two 500's) a day, and if I was on the PC in the morning and felt my wrists tighten I'd take 1,000 then too (I take my supplements usually around 5 in the evening) I ran out of the ones I was taking and now I've started these: http://www.iherb.com/quercetin7.html I've only been on them a few days so I'll letya know how they do, safari sagoody... Guest guest
I hope not. The area where we are is too close to D.C. and getting more and more gang-related. Guest guest
He said he'd take $150 to hold the house for us, and if we changed our minds he'd keep it!!! I am going thru the same thing right now, "We" found a first floor one level apartment for the same rent we pay now but this one had 4 bedrooms. So dippy (not me of course) gives the guy some money to hold it because the landlord said we are the kind of people he has been looking for(umm, what-suckers?) and there was no need to fill out the application, it was ours if we wanted it. Well when I get the chance to look at this "golden palace" and see the dirt backyard, the bars on the windows, the dryer in the kitchen with the washer in the basement, the red carpet with gold stripes in the kitchen, and lack of a ceiling in the bathroom, I said "NO WAY" The prospective landlord says too bad, I am keeping it for the inconvenience. I'll give him inconvenience when he marches his butt into court and doesn't have a leg to stand on. Lucky for you the same mistake wasn't made. I've said it before and I'll say it again, NY is ready willing and able to take you on. C'mon over. Lots of places waiting for ya. Guest guest
We Still would need a place to land...not going to just pack up and end up homeless lovvie... Hugz!~*~Akiba~*~ Re: Neuro visit It is difficult but not impossible, I know that only because I'm doing it LOL. The main reason for that is because I didn't want my daughter put in special ed when what she needed was just one on one individual attention to help her learn. According to medical authorities she has Asperger's (I don't believe it but hey what do I know) You have to file with Albany and your child has to pass standardized testing, especially at the 4th and 8th grade levels. Do I love NY, not necessarily but its home for us. As far as public schools go, it depends on where you find a nest to roost in, alot of the schools in this area are integrated learning programs. The elementary in the next town has all kinds of students, "normal", learning impaired, disabled, and ESL students. In Herkimer and at most all the local schools there is BOCES(Board of ative Educational Services) that has a specialized program for autistic children in house as well as running programs in many of the area schools. Charity was set to become a student in one of their programs when she was 2 but mommy is a stubborn bird and said no. My SIL's daughter has a different spectrum disorder and was in a program at the school and did quite well. She was taught right in her hometown school and will enter 8th grade this fall in public junior high. Compared to the other schools I have attended, those here in NY and the ones I attended in Michigan, I have to laud the Herkimer School District, the fort School District (West fort Elementary won the 2004 Presidential Academic Merit Award) West Canada Valley School District, and Poland Central School as the best in NY. C'mon, move here, you'll like it, I promise Akiba wrote: I know, but we need a place to land before we pack up and move...Also, homeshooling in NY is impossible and I will *Not* bus Robbin to school (they do with "autistic" kids, and that is not acceptable in any form) Hugz!~*~Akiba~*~
