Guest guest
Hi Shanda, welcome! Thoughts....I've had a few weeks where I gained, then the following week I was down 3.5. So, it could just be water. I think it is good advice to not eat after 6, but I never follow it. Just make sure you're getting your water, exercise, and staying within your points. If you think the carbs are a problem, watch them. Me, I live for carbs. I had tried Atkin's diet last year and about went crazy with no bread, no carbs.....I have to have 'em! Good luck! Glad you've joined us! Lyn I'm new Hello all, after lurking here reading all the emails, I finally decide to join in this group, figure its not doing me any good just reading them. Well I just joined WW 10/18/01. I have been doing good, I had lost 18.8 lbs up until last nite when I weighed in. I gained .4 can I just say ughh. I'm not sure, might be water. But now I am really going to watch how many carbs I'm eating and try not to eat after 6 pm every nite. If any of you have any thoughts about it let me know. Guest guest
, I am with you. I think I have a lot more to offer a baby now as opposed to when I was younger. Yes, wiser and more patient for sure! I would like to get it done sometime this summer I guess, so I don't have to drive the kids back and forth to school. They go to school out of the school district here and is a 40 minute round trip drive, which is really no big deal, but after your surgery, Dr. Levin said that he doesn't want you driving for at least 2 weeks, ideally 3. Plus, my husband said that it would take him about six months to save to get the cash (he wants to pay cash). Its just the initial " taking the first step towards the committment of doing it I guess! I don't know if I should make the date and start saving, or start saving and then make the date when I get there! Kind of the chicken and egg thing! Where do you live? I'm in Michigan! Guest guest
Well Done, Elaine! And you think I would have let you slip away that quietly?Especially with your symptoms? Webb Osterloh(Feisty)group co-owner http://groups.yahoo.com/group/The_Thyroid_Support_Group/ATP Board Member,Thyroid Patient Advocate I'm new HI All,I've been hovering in the members list while I waited for my test results to come back in case I was OK (and would unsub quietly lol!).I already have diagnoses of HUghes Syndrome, mild OI Type l and Menieres Disease and am waiting for my rheumy who thinks I have straighforward patella femoral dysfunction to work out what else is going on.Being sick of being sick,I came across some information that suggested that a pituitary problem might be afoot. My GP didn't want to get into small print stuff but a second visit resulted in bloods being sent off for thyroid tests which came back today. My serum T4 reads 12.1 and my TSH is 1.82 which I've been told is normal.I read some stuff which does indicate that it's within normal limits, although my T4 is at the high end i.e. overactive and my TSH is at the lower end i.e. underactive.I don't really feel that I've got anywhere -anyone got any thoughts on this?Elaine
Guest guest
It's nice to hear that someone has had good results! Have you followed WP exactly? How long have you been doing it? Did you have to modify the amounts and, if so, how long did it take you to get balanced? Did you have trouble with side-effects? Thanks, Frances > > I have lost 34 lbs. since I started WP and I have never felt > healthier in my life. I think that many women who are corresponding > in this site have many medical issues that to say WP caused them is > very irresponsible. I do not in anyway dismiss that they are very ill
