Hi Everyone,

Good to follow the conversation our PG members are engaged in.

Just a reminder to sign off with your diagnosis as new EN members tend to get

confused and scared if they read about " ulcers " the PG treatments [which are

vastly different from EN treatments].

We EN members far outnumber the PG members, but the PG members posts have sure

touched on some very important issues to all of us. I read a few to my hubby and

he said you guys put everything into perspective. How you deal with such serious

and painful issues and manage to find the blessing in it is amazing and awe

inspiring. It reminds me of a song I wrote a while back:

Play the Cards You're Dealt

by Strecker 5/26/08

It is not the cards you are dealt but what you do with them that counts.

In the Poker game of life we all get dealt a different hand.

A royal flush, a pair of twos, circumstances you ain't planned.

And with the cards before you is a choice you have to weigh,

cause it ain't the cards you're dealt but the strategy you play.

Play the cards you're dealt. There ain't no other choice.

Play the cards you're dealt. Some day you will rejoice.

Keep on keeping on and you will win the game someday.

Play the cards you're dealt, and everything will be OK.

Yes, I wasn't dealt the best of hands: was poor and in bad health.

But I didn't give up easy in my quest to strength and wealth.

Kept keeping my eyes on the prize and bluffed my way along

with confidence, a happy smile and little song.

Play the cards you're dealt. There ain't no other choice.

Play the cards you're dealt. Some day you will rejoice.

Keep on keeping on and you will win the game someday.

Play the cards you're dealt, and everything will be OK.

Oh sure there were folks smarter and better looking too,

But I threw away my lousy cards and my hand was renewed.

I took the qualities I had and polished them like gold

and eventually I won the game and never had to fold.

Play the cards you're dealt. There ain't no other choice.

Play the cards you're dealt. Some day you will rejoice.

Keep on keeping on and you will win the game someday.

Play the cards you're dealt, and everything will be OK.

Love,

idio EN '68 in remission now
