Guest guest
Hi all! My name is Bre and I have been doing BFL since Monday and so far I am doing great!!!! here is a little info about me: I am a 29 year old stay at home mom to 2 little boys (4 & 2). I live just outside Austin, Texas. In March 2006 I got on the scale and weighed 206 lbs, exactly what I did 6 months prior when I was 9 months pregnant! I started to eat right and exercise and 1 year later in March 2007 I was down to 148. Well, here it is September 2007 and I am back up to 160. Over Labor day weekend I read Body for Life. I had planned to start on September 10th but I went to the BFL website and saw that the deadline to start the new challenge was Sept 4, so I ran to the grocery store and it began. I do have some questions: 1. For those who have been successful in the past, did you stick to the 20 minute cardio 3 times a week, or did you do more? 2. I NEED SNACK IDEAS!!!! Got any? Thanks all!!! Guest guest
Welcome to the group! You've already been really successful at losing weight! I stuck closely to the program for about 36 weeks when I started in 2001 and did the prescribed cardio until 2004. It kept the weight off. Eating for Life has some good ideas for midmeals. I often eat cottage cheese and yogurt. Andy > > Hi all! Guest guest
hi there and welcome.. i definately think it is genetic;;;;;;; Subject: New hereTo: Soundsensitivity Date: Saturday, May 19, 2012, 10:02 AM My name is , I am 29 and live in Maine. For as long as remember the sound of people smacking, slurping, popping gum etc...has thrown me into a rage. Excessive sneezing and coughing also have the same effect. My sister, father and niece also have this problem.I never knew there was a name for it or that there is a lot of people suffering from it too. Until last night on 20/20.Seeing the segment on misophonia brought me such a feeling of relief. My family is not alone which is a liberating feeling. There are others like us out there. I thought I was crazy with the rage I felt over certain sounds.
