Andy - Is it possible for you to put this question aside for now and start moving ahead on something else? What if you found the answer to the question you are asking? What difference would it make in you living a valued life? I recommend you put this question in a pouch in your backpack labeled "PENDING FURTHER LIGHT."My gut is telling me this is bordering on over-thinking/struggling. I've never gotten to the bottom of my anxiety. I wasted a ton of time trying to do so. My mind still wants to take me down that path. Every time I let it, I end up in a rabbit hole.BillTo: ACT_for_the_Public From: rockwallaby@...Date: Sat, 18 Dec 2010 23:33:25 +0000Subject: Re: Stuck in my comfort zone

Hi Andy,Your question is an interesting question.I'm not really sure if the goal that produces significant anxiety means that this goal is something you strongly care about, as I am thinking it could also be a goal that you feel scared by, or that it might seem just so impossible. Then the feeling might be a feeling of being frightened or overwhelmed, and anxiety might then come from being overwhelmed.Or it might be that you also feel frustrated when you notice you are not achieving things you wish to do.Sit with the feelings you are experiencing and just notice them, they may be all mixed up together as a complex emotional soup.It can be really hard to work out what the feeling really are.Give yourself space between the various things on your list, so as to not get the feelings that come up from one item interact with the feelings from other item on your list.I think the trick is to allow yourself the time, do not try to solve and have answers for all items on your list in a short time and together._______________________________________________________________________Andy wrote: - ya I'm pretty comfortable with myself at the moment, I think thats the problem I need to take action or I may regret it in year to come when it would be more difficult to achieve my goals. When you say writing down all your goals do you and examining the anxiety each produces are you suggesting that the goal which produces the most anxiety is the one that I probably most strongly care about. Thanks everyone for your responses.Andy

Thanks for your responses guys.

I think when I made the opening post I was a bit panicked about

all the things lacking in my life.

I was fearing my procrastination would last indefinitely.

I think I will try to simply do my best, thats all I can do.

Am maybe take small steps like ye were saying.
