She sounds like she's vengeful. What an ^%$ & hole. She shes a real

sorry excuse for a teacher. She doesnt belong anywhere near children.

She cant take an ounce of criticism. Id want to stick her head in a

toliet bowl, but, we just cant do these things, unfortunately.

Just a little while ago this woman shows up. Says she's from the

county social services. She's had a " report " I asked (even though I

knew) about who it was-- of course she said she couldn't say but said

basically " put 2 and 2 together. " This hideous teacher from he## has

gone beyond too far. I just resent this type of intrusion when I do

all the " right things " . When I told her the teacher told me she had

been improving at school-- this woman looked surprised.

It feels like they don't have to prove you're guilty--YOU have to

prove you're innocent.

But-- innocent of WHAT??!! I don't even think there's a word for

what I'm feeling.

Cinnamon

P.S. Sorry about that subject heading.

Yes. I have had CPS visit. You do feel that way.

There probably is (big language, lots of words) but feeling what your

feeling makes it hard to find it.

Don't worry about it. See what I wrote above! That kind of situation is

exactly what those words were invented for.

Never apologize for appropriate use of profanity. We all do it.

I am so sorry this happened. I can't believe the teacher would do such a

thing. She must be completely ignorant.

Can you tell us what the woman from social services said?

What was the 'report' based on, Cinnamon?

CPS came to my house last summer after the police found on my roof, and I

was sleeping. It was 7 am. (bad, bad mommy!)

I felt very much under the gun when he showed up, and like I was on trial. But

he came in, and checked the window to make sure such a thing could never happen

again, and later followed up and helped me get some 'wandering child' safeties

in order... I haven't heard from them since.

I hope such a benign visit is what yours turns out to be.

Well, it was pretty much bringing up Cassie's recent problems at

school. Me saying (for about the 12 MILLIONTH time) that it's ONLY

at school.

One of the things that REALLY made me mad was when she asked if I

trust my husband and son. I thought my head was going to explode. I

just gritted my teeth and said " Yes.I do. " Then she said " by law "

she had to see where Cassie sleeps. And that she has to have a face

to face meeting with my husband; so she's supposed to show up again

later today for that. She's already gone to my son's school. He

just called me about that. I bet he had an attitude about it. That

boy is protective of his baby sister.

Do you mean that they are suspecting abuse because an autistic child is

experiencing toileting problems???????????

You're right. That f*ing bitch. Forget what I wrote earlier.

Cinnamon,

So, they were insinuating that her peeing a lot has to do with sexual

abuse. The teacher is really ignorent, and not taking responsiblity

for the fact that this behavior is going on at school. She is ducking

out at looking at how to resolve the issue. Just because you stood

up to her gives no right to have the school social worker ambush

you/and or call CPS. Its extremely disruptive to your whole family

with no evidence. Sorry that theyre harrassing your son too.

She brought up the behavior at school. And wanted to know if she

was wetting at home or wetting the bed. She's not. Then she started

asking me questions about me trusting my husband and son. I do.

Indeed I do. The only thing she said she " had to see " was where

Cassie sleeps. Oh she did ask about when Cassie had last seen the

doctor.(how many times have I heard that?) I feel like just putting

some of this on tape or some printout. Save them the trouble of

asking the same questions repeatedly and save me from repeating

myself so much. " Is she doing this at home? " ... " no " " Is she doing

this at " ... " no " " Is she doing " ... " no " " Is she " ...... " NO!

NO! NO! " I think they are going to drive me completely insane.

Yes, because you see, if you have a special-needs child you not only

have to be a super-parent who can change diapers for 5,6,7,8 years,

fight endlessly to get your child any services from squeaky-tight

school districts, devote your life to driving to doctors and

therapists, and spend every second of free-time listening to, " It's a

t-rex, mommy! It's a t-rex, mommy! It's a t-rex, mommy! It's a t-rex,

mommy! It's a t-rex, mommy! " (In our case it's: " Ouch, my foot hurts.

Good job, na. Ow, my ouchie. My foot hurts. Ok, na. Good

job, na. Ouch, my foot! Ouch, my toes hurt! Good job, na. " )

THEN

You have to make sure that you cross every " T " and dot every " I "

because CPS might show up to investigate why your child is behaving

" strangely. " Better make sure that all the dishes are always washed

and the floors are always clean and their beds are always changed and

made and that you didn't leave the rake in the yard and you scrubbed

behind the toilet and you have healthy food in the cupboard. Don't do

or say anything " different " from the status quo, because that means

you abuse or neglect your child. God forbid your child be a

combination of hyperactive and motor-delayed; all of the bruises and

scrapes are enough to just about get you the chair.

Jesus, it's unbelievable. Granted, CPS *should* investigate certain

situations. But when you see in the paper that they gave three kids

back to a woman who promptly took them to the roof of the courthouse

and threw them to their deaths (it's true, and then she jumped

herself) and then read notes from people that they are being harrassed

for something that is a fairly typical trait of autism, it's enough to

make you want to scream.

Brownshirts.

Every single word of that is true. I may even print it out.

(Seriously) And I think that's the thing that just " GETS " me. You

are always hearing about these HIDEOUS excuses for a human being who

DO abuse and neglect and subject their children to horrible things--

yet these are the people social services doesn't seem to want

to " bother " . It's positively insane.

Cinnamon

P.S. Cassie's a " repeater " too. Sadly right now she has a fondness

for Sylvester Stallone. So, for MY dining and dancing

pleasure? " Sylvester Stallone. Sylvester Stallone. Rocky Balboa.

Rocky.Mom Mom Mom. Rocky II. Rocky III. Sylvester Stallone. Rocky IV.

Rocky V.Mom Mom Mom Mom .........Sylvester Stallone..... "

EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE LOL

Truthfully? I think it's 2 things. 1.Not being accountable/
