I dont like to give into letting him eat so much so I am very careful to limit his ammount of food. I dont know if he has eaten anything different though. I will have to pay closer attention. Oh, my sister Kiki started zyprexa and she gained 25 pounds in 2 months! But that for her is good as she was 92 pounds and 5'8 " at 21 yrs old. Sheesh! I just feel guilty as hell refusing a child food ( I have no problem refusing candy, but cheese, bologna, crackers....those are harder). Also, I should start just giving water. When we did the GFCF diet, we switched from evil koolaid to 100% juice. She was getting so many supplements in her cups that she had juice all day. Maybe just juice for her one medicine cup? Like Alec, Ebony will only drink bottled water. The problem is that she dumps it (on purpose) and fills her mouth and spits it after she has had her fill. She normally has sippy cups with the juice. Just make sure she doesnt see you put meds in her cup because if she is like Alec she will catch on and throw that evil cup down.LOL It is hard to tell them no more food especially when it is good food but too much of anything is no good. Hang in there. You will get things into a good routine for her soon. Maybe she is just so used to it that it has become part of the drink? I don't know, but I have never tried to hide it from her.
