call 1-800-fight ms and they will give you the phone # of the ms group

for your state and they will help you on the phone. Every state has a MS

group and then they will assist you.

you're welcome...good luck finding a group to attend.

I'm out in the middle of no where (literally). There are 3 others here in

town that also have MS but only 1 really talks about having it at all (well

1 is in a wheel chair, and is pretty much inable to communicate; and the

other gal really doesn't say she has any problems and says she doesn't have

it any more).

So...that is why I am a member of this group. I truely love reading the

posts. I haven't posted much lately, just reading a little. The computer is

my lifeline to MS education and communication, thank god for technology eh?

Let us know how you come out with the phone call to your local MS chapter.

there there is a link to find a local chapter in your area or a support group.

Well that was a bust. The chapter is in Minneapolis. There is one

in Souix Falls. 200 miles is a bit far to commute

go to www.nmss.org in the top right hand put in your zip code and it will put you with the local group in your area. then you can find a support group close to you. good luck. Hope this helped.

Just because the chapter is in one city that doesn't mean they don't have a closer support group. MN has a program where people will come to your home. Click on Client Programs at either chapter to find different programs. good luck

Nebraska has groups all over the state in various cities.

You can even start one in your city!

Call your state chapter for more info.
