Guest guest
It doesnt seem that debilitating, I'm fine when the headaches dont come, etc. It's not imparing my work or my school work. Does anyone know about how long it takes to get over the withdrawal? I heard like 6 weeks? So I'm half way done? I am taking a multivitamin and lots of calcium--im a very small girl after all, and I would really rather not go back on prozac if I could. I feel like I've really made it this far, and if I can go the extra stretch it would be wonderful > > Dear Kara, > > > You said: > > > My name is Kara and I was on prozac for about 4 years, 20 mg. It is very individualized with numerous factors. Magnesium would serve you far better than calcium. You can see our protocol in our files under Basic Healing Protocol. My advice to consider going back on Prozac comes from years of seeing certain patterns. You may not fit this pattern. The thing is, though, you're talking about Prozac. Prozac has a very long half-life so in reality, you are at the very beginning of anything you are going to experience. Occasionally, it happens that a person doesn't experience much at all. This could be you. BTW, how old are you? Regards,
Guest guest
Thanks! I'm twenty three, and hoping I'm getting a bit better. I guess I'm trying to change a few things, im letting my hair grow out, getting bangs--which i havent had since i was in highschool, im starting graduate school and quitting prozac is just part of that--freedom maybe? To not be bound to CVS. But I do have a doctors appointment today for both the prozac and to make sure this all has nothing to do with the fact that i havent had an eye exam for 3 years--*L* and i want colored contacts. So, 2 doctors appointments in one day, and hopefully all will go well. I'll let you all know how everything goes. Thanks for everything once more!
